The content in scoop.it are real ? I mean all those scoops are inserted by peoples like me ?

I can see many profiles in scoop got hundreds and thousands of work. But I got only 10 so far. With 50+ scoops were already made.

Do people in scoop do more background work to get promoted ?

Yes, scoops are real. You can check the content curation in the scoop analytics.
